About Matti

My name is Matti! I am a current student at University of California - San Diego and I am an aspiring paediatrician and hope to work with children throughout the rest of my life. I am tutoring students because in my early years of education I was not good at maths and I resented doing the work for it. I soon decided to get a tutor and they really helped me begin to love the subject and I want to be that person for a struggling student that was once similar to me.

About the lesson

- The technique I use for teaching will depend on the student and how quickly they need to learn the material. Since each student is different, teaching methods may consist of learning games and working through each problem together. - Each lesson is about an hour. - My experience tutoring consists of a work-study programme in high school teaching elementary students Spanish and babysitting for multiple years. - My lessons are for elementary school, middle school, and lower-levelled high school students.
