About Lora Lee
I am an experienced band and choral director and taught private lessons for beginners on all band instruments for 24 years. I was honored as a high impact teacher. I have taught all levels of piano for 30 years. I was a piano and vocal major in college. I finished my career as an ESE teacher for the last 11 years of my career.

My teaching methods are engaging, interdisciplinary, and tailored to meet the needs of each student. I like to have my students work with manipulatives such as "Hands-on Equations" to teach balanced algebraic equations, and CUBES math strategies to solve word problems. For reading, I like the students to read passages based on his/her interests with low readability/high-interest, scaffolding instructions. I prefer STARS for reading and STAMS for math tutoring.
