About Valentina

I am passionate about music, I learnt piano and music theory at the Tolima conservatory, so I can connect concepts and show things in an easier way. I have practiced ukulele for 5 years and currently I have created a YouTube channel with which I try to teach some unusual songs on this instrument in a fast way.

About the lesson

I treat music depending on the needs of the student and the objectives that he wants to meet. I know that many times it is difficult to understand strumming just by listening to it. So I try to speak or draw them for those who are starting or find this part difficult. I like to teach some rhythmic circles that will be common in many songs and arpeggios to give you motor skills while developing a musical ear.
Finally, a musician must also take into account their body posture, they must warm up and stretch to avoid injuries or possible complications in the future so I like to fully teach the care to play the ukulele.

Perfect! Me encanta Valentina. Le esta dando clases de ukelele a mi hija de 8 años que no sabia tocar el instrumento y no estaba familiarizada con el. Valentina empezo desde las clases mas basicas, que han sido muy importantes para mi hija entender e ir avanzando. Con las dificultades de enseñar un instrumento del que mi hija no tenia conocimiento, dando clases virtuales, y ademas a mi hija que no sabe perfecto español, Valentina ha hecho un trabajo excelente. Tiene mucha paciencia, es suave, y siempre se le ve feliz. Combina ejercicios corporales, notas en un cuaderno para enseñar teoria y practica con el ukelele. Super recomendada!
