About Evelyn

I am a Concurrent Education student at York University and am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Mathematics for Education. I have completed high school with an overall average of 93% and have achieved certificates of distinction in math competitions hosted by the University of Waterloo. Additionally, I have co-op experience, teaching grades 5 to 8 and work experience teaching 4 to 16 year olds

About the lesson

My lesson plan entails explanations of the topics the student is currently learning at school in addition to practice problems to ensure full understanding of the concept. I am open to tutoring students that would like to learn ahead. I also encourage students to bring homework and questions they require assistance with.

I tutor grades 1 through 12.

My son's first week of Grade 10 math was not going as well as we had hoped.
Some concepts were just not sticking, and he needed help.
Being of a personality where he is very particular about who he's comfortable with, he needed not only a tutor but an empathetic tutor.
