About Evelyn
I am a Concurrent Education student at York University and am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Mathematics for Education. I have completed high school with an overall average of 93% and have achieved certificates of distinction in math competitions hosted by the University of Waterloo. Additionally, I have co-op experience, teaching grades 5 to 8 and work experience teaching 4 to 16 year olds

My lesson plan entails explanations of the topics the student is currently learning at school in addition to practice problems to ensure full understanding of the concept. I am open to tutoring students that would like to learn ahead. I also encourage students to bring homework and questions they require assistance with.

Perfect! Evelyn is an excellent math tutor who has made a real difference in my daughter’s learning. My daughter enjoys the sessions and looks forward to them. Evelyn is patient, flexible, and adapts her teaching to suit my daughter’s needs. She’s also strategic in preparing her for math competitions, focusing on both problem-solving and test-taking skills.
