About Sakethram

I am a junior attending Hickory Ridge High School, and I am an avid mathematician and tutor. I have competed and won in several math and science fairs, and have been tutoring students across my entire state in Math for over 3 years. I have an innate drive to teach and grow our next generation! I'm excited to embark on this wonderful journey!

About the lesson

Education and learning can sometimes be a bit boring, when taught the wrong ways. My goal is to make learning as fun and memorable as possible, while assisting you in your academic goals, through my easy-to-understand explanations and intuitive logic.

A typical tutoring class for me would go like this:
- Math Warm-up/Recap from previous lesson (5-10 mins)
- Primary lesson and secondary skills to match the lesson (40-45 mins)
- Review and practice (5-15 mins).

Many people believe that tutoring as a high school student presents 0 credibility. I, however, highly disagree with that statement. If anything, it's because I am a high school student that I have a knack for tutoring. I have gone through most of the education system and unlike most teachers who are just teaching from their own perspective, I am teaching from the students' perspective. I know what it feels like when our teacher doesn't explain concepts effectively, or when learning becomes dull. Through my high school experience, I have learned what works and what doesn't, and plan on implementing those effective strategies in my lessons.

My lessons are for anyone in grades K-12, in Math preferably.
