About Tyus
I am an 18 year old undergraduate student who enjoys tutoring. I have tutored peers as well as younger students. I am a very patient teacher and I am happy to take the time to find the style of teaching that best helps each of my students. I have successfully helped a few students improve their grades from almost failing to strong having a strong understanding of the subject.

As a tutor, I prefer my students to lead the session so that they can have all of their individual questions answered. Depending on what the student needs, I can be a source of accountability, I can assist with daily homework, and I can answer questions about topics learned in class. I do request that my students come prepared with questions and plan for what they need help with before each session, so that the most can be made out of the time they are paying for. If there is a specific problem in class or on an assignment that my student would like to work on, please write it down and have it at the session so we can work through it together. I can do in person meetings or meetings online with zoom.
