About Gayathri

I am a student of Carnatic music (Vocal) currently pursuing my Post Graduation. I've been learning professional Carnatic music from 10 years. I've also been performing a number of full length and short duration concerts for the past 7 years and have 6 years of teaching experience, conducting Carnatic music classes, both online and offline, to students from India and abroad.

About the lesson

I base my teaching on the methods of a renowned Musician and Musicologist, using innovative, easy and effective methods to help the student understand intricate concepts of music and grow into a good musician. The structure includes teaching both the melodic and rhythmic aspects of music, as well as theory of Classical music to enhance the students' understanding. My classes include Keerthanas and Bhajans along with conventional music lessons. My classes are usually interactive and requires continuous effort from both the students' and the teacher's end. My classes will be useful for both children and adults who are new to the stream as well as those with basic knowledge about Carnatic music who wish to become good musicians.
