About Harpreet
I am a student who Post Graduated in Physics from Pune University and is passionate about teaching. I understand the phases that students go through while understanding the concept. Students often fear asking question thinking that they might seem stupid, but in science no question is ever stupid and getting the doubt cleared and understanding the concept is way more important than hesitating before asking the questions. I understand this very well and I also do understand exactly where the chances are for loop holes in the concept, and hence I teach accordingly and I make sure that the student has understood the concept and without that I don't proceed further. I do not believe in the concept of mugging up things. Understanding the subject and its application in real life is very very important.

My teaching method is interactive. I do not simply talk and let the student listen. I make sure that the student is interacting in the class. I first ask what all the student knows about the topic (I let them give me the keywords even if they do not know the meaning of it) and based on that I decide how to approach. I first give a plot of the chapter saying what it is all about and what all we will be studying in it. I make sure that the student puts pen to paper while I am teaching. I teach a concept and clear the doubts if any and make the student solve one or two problems in front of me to get an idea whether the student is understanding or not. I give homeworks on daily bases and weekly tests as well. In this way I teach the whole chapter and then as the chapter gets over I conduct a test. After the student submits the test paper , I discuss the questions to evaluate the difficulties faced by the students. I have a unique way of revising whatever I have taught. I make the students write all the words they can remember about the chapter without even looking at the book and then one by one we discuss each topic. This methods gives the student a good amount of confidence. It has worked very well with all the students I have taught.
