About Adam

About Me:
Hi, I’m Adam! I hold a BSc (Honours) cum laude in Computer Science from Stellenbosch University, where I have also served as an official university tutor.

My focus is simple: taking the stress out of difficult subjects and helping you build genuine confidence.

What You Can Expect:
- Academic Credibility: Real experience navigating and mastering demanding technical curricula with top honours.
- Tutoring Experience: Proven background breaking down tough logic, code, and maths into clear, intuitive steps.
- Calm, Supportive Style: A patient, low-pressure space where we focus directly on your problem areas and develop practical exam strategies.

If you need to catch up, I am here to help you get there efficiently.

About the lesson

My Approach:
I believe in calm, low-pressure lessons that focus on first-principles understanding rather than rote memorisation. We break complex topics down into simple steps, pinpoint your exact bottlenecks, and rebuild your problem-solving confidence.

What a Typical Lesson Looks Like:
- Quick Check-in: Identify current problem areas, assignments, or upcoming tests.
- Concept Breakdown: Walk through core theory using practical, clear examples.
- Hands-on Practice: Tackle past papers and targeted problems together.
- Wrap-up: Independent problem check to ensure you can solve it on your own.

Who I Teach:
- High School (Grades 10–12): Core Mathematics (CAPS).
- University (1st Year – Honours): Computer Science, programming (Python, Java), algorithms, and coursework support.
