My teaching method is based on a students weaknesses, l base my classes on what the student is struggling with on a subject and topic by topic.l do not move from a topic if my student is not yet ready to move.
When teaching I try my best to relate whatever we learning to real life situations. Mathematics because much simpler when you try and view it in a real world way.
I have different methods for each subject. For Natural Science I prefer to teach kids to understand the work instead of just memorization, though Natural Science is a lot of memorization work. For Mathematics, I will teach kids methods on how to solve problems themselves.
My teaching method may vary from student to student. I do a small evaluation test before the first lesson to gauge any indication of strengths and weaknesses. I found that students sometimes just don't test well even though they know their work, so I focus on getting the student test ready over and above understanding the content. I focus on basics, because sometimes that is lacking the most.
I give lessons to grade 8 to grade 12 students. Each lessons is different. If the student ask me about a topic they are struggling with I'll do everything I can to make sure they understand it. Otherwise I will follow the same topics they teach in school to give them more in depth knowledge.
I always try to make my learners comfortable approaching my lessons in a different way. Trying to get them involved in my tutoring is a good way to start off a lesson. Asking them their opinions about a particular sum and how they can work around it. I come from a very difficult past and often times, it crippled me from achieving certain goals.
I like to make my classes/sessions interactive, it gives that atmosphere which is very conducive for involvement and creative thinking. I give real life examples to physics concepts. Physics and mathematics are just fun and exciting, encouraging such mood gets learning easiest.
So I can basically tutor anybody in high school. I am not as tuned up with grade 11 and 12 but I can learn. I have a lot of experience with grade 8-10 learners and was able to improve marks exponentially.
Being an education student, I have learned various teaching methods to use with in a classroom. However I feel that the interactive teaching method usually works best with children, because there are countless ways to check for a learner’s understanding. I prefer being more practical and hands on, so engaging with a student is really important.
I base my classes on discussion methods. I urge all students to ask as much as they possibly can. I belive in trial and error hence all students should try problems before awaiting spoon feeding.
My classes are based are based on the individuals learner. For a learner needed help to pass the subject, I structure my class to teach techniques to score all the marks they can. For a learner wanting to get As, I focus on the conceptual understanding of the material in order to help the learner push themselves to achieve their desired goal.
My Level 5 TEFL qualification included modules such as teaching methods and lesson planning. I do classes the conventional manner with some fun twists to make it enjoyable as well. I believe that interactive lessons are key to better results.
We will discover your weak points in the subject and work on them using videos, exercises and games to work them out. I can tutor any level up till Grade 10 or IG level. Lessons with be adapted to your skill level and will be flexible to meet your requirements.
I started covering the basics of each topic as they form a foundation for the rest of the section. Usually when I can, I come up with real life examples where possible to make it easier to understand. I ensure students ask questions before we move on. Thereafter I give working exercise ranging from easy to advance .
I bring out the inner intuitive nature of the students by helping them think differently. Teach kids not just own way to approach a problem but take into account multiple viewpoint. I normally love to teach high school kids Physics and Mathematics.
i base my classes more on the curriculum to be completed and i also make sure that the student understand the basis of what is being taught. I work at the pace of the student and try my best to make it a fun class as possible being a youngster myself.
My teaching methodology is simply making sure that you start by understanding how to pass the course before anything else. Then we attack the basics. I don't use a textbook. Maths is an international language. You don't need a dictionary anymore to speak or understand English.
I base my teaching on what you need assistance with and help you understand the work from the basics and up
I have been in the same position as the student so know exactly how to approach various maths concepts by explaining the content in the most understandable way possible. Once the concept is grasped, the next step is to look at various examples that approach the concept at different angles in order to ensure that the concept is fully understood.
The way I teach is very simple and easy to follow. I break the material down to it's basically level before advancing to the level that is required.
Every student is able to succeed in any subject. This is achievable through breaking each topic down to the basics and building from there.
My teaching method is pedagogical for the student to understand. I have taught about 40 students and most of them did very well in their final exams. My main areas of specialisation are in Maths and Accounting in all levels.
My teaching methodology is explaining each topic/sub topic using examples then doing an exercises based on what I just explained and a mini test at the end of each topic to test understanding and re-explaining if needed.
Connecting with the students so they may be comfortable to ask and answer freely in class. I break down each new topic, try using many examples so that they may understand. Make the lesson fun so that the students are eager to learn .
I will identify a student’s problem/problem area and help them gain a better understanding of the concept in whatever school work they find difficulty in. I will do my best to simply explanations for optimal understanding.
My teaching method is a more conversational style as I believe that creates a space which puts students at ease, cultivates understanding and allows for the engagement of the student. I like to incorporate visuals into my lessons and facilitate group discussions.
I have always found the best method of tutoring math comes through visual analogy and deeper understanding rather than following steps. I have studied drama through high school and so have developed easy personal communication skills. This helps everyone feel comfortable as we sometimes face challenging concepts.
My methodology is simple: practice, practice, practice! Where each task is based solely on the learner's capacity and pace at which they can understand and grasp concepts, not just to be able to do something but to be absolutely excellent at it
My teaching method is I take it from scratch, I like building a solid foundation first because I believe kids are like buildings without a solid foundation they will crumble. I start from the beginning and work my way up I challenge there minds to think different about each problem and I use every day examples to make learning fun and easier to understand.
I approach each topic as if you have never done it before thus explain the basics first then build up from there. I furthermore believe in student participating and asking for clarification if they dont understand.
