My teaching method is based on a students weaknesses, l base my classes on what the student is struggling with on a subject and topic by topic.l do not move from a topic if my student is not yet ready to move.
I am patient and caring so I'll be very helpful with students. When teaching I like to give a break done of the topic, explain through examples, then give assistance if the learner struggles while working on their own.
First I have to familiarize myself with the learners background in the specific section of the subject. If there is a lack of previous knowledge, it is not wise to continue before some intervention takes place by strengthening the background knowledge.
I base my lessons on where the student struggles most, approaching each topic in hopes to build the learner's confidence towards the subject content. It is also important to acknowledge the learner's strongest academic aspects. I have sufficient resource materials to provide the learner, including study notes and past papers to practice.
My approach is to first Identify the area where the student is struggling, then try understand any barrier as to why the student is not excelling through that topic then we set up goals to achieve .
Contingency approach to every student. Every student's needs are different depending on their areas of strength and weaknesses, understanding this helps in modelling the most efficient teaching methodology and produces significantly better results as compared to a blanket approach.
When teaching I try my best to relate whatever we learning to real life situations. Mathematics because much simpler when you try and view it in a real world way.
I have different methods for each subject. For Natural Science I prefer to teach kids to understand the work instead of just memorization, though Natural Science is a lot of memorization work. For Mathematics, I will teach kids methods on how to solve problems themselves.
My teaching method is based on facilitating, enabling and coaching the learner. As a teacher I'm a very good listener who will be able to diagnose the problems and interpret the situation accordingly. As a teacher I believe in serving the learners and treating them with respect that they deserve.
My teaching methodology is I am more focused on what students are struggling and what they need to learn. I attract the students' attention and make my lessons more interesting so that students feel comfortable with me.
I believe in working a lots of exams and test questions to get trends and to be more prepared. I go from easy questions to more challenging ones and spend time explaining complex things. I hope I can make maths fun for you as it was for me.
I have been teaching for the past 8 years and have experience teaching learners with learning difficulties. I am often complimented for my patience with learners. I believe that each learner has his/her own pace and that lessons should be planned according to each learner's individual needs in order to ensure that they leave with a good understanding of the work, after each lesson.
I adhere to the warmer, body, plenary structure when I teach a formal class and I intend to teach mostly to high school students in the Cape Town and Stellenbosch areas. I also try to minimise teacher talk time and guide students to solving their problems themselves.
I explain the content to learners first then start giving learners class work and home work everyday of a tutoring session. i give lessons to learners from grade 6 to 12. I do go through the common past national maths papers with learners to get them ready for the common exams MR DANIEL ADDICO.
My teaching method may vary from student to student. I do a small evaluation test before the first lesson to gauge any indication of strengths and weaknesses. I found that students sometimes just don't test well even though they know their work, so I focus on getting the student test ready over and above understanding the content. I focus on basics, because sometimes that is lacking the most.
I always try to make my learners comfortable approaching my lessons in a different way. Trying to get them involved in my tutoring is a good way to start off a lesson. Asking them their opinions about a particular sum and how they can work around it. I come from a very difficult past and often times, it crippled me from achieving certain goals.
I like to make my classes/sessions interactive, it gives that atmosphere which is very conducive for involvement and creative thinking. I give real life examples to physics concepts. Physics and mathematics are just fun and exciting, encouraging such mood gets learning easiest.
So I can basically tutor anybody in high school. I am not as tuned up with grade 11 and 12 but I can learn. I have a lot of experience with grade 8-10 learners and was able to improve marks exponentially.
Being an education student, I have learned various teaching methods to use with in a classroom. However I feel that the interactive teaching method usually works best with children, because there are countless ways to check for a learner’s understanding. I prefer being more practical and hands on, so engaging with a student is really important.
I will generally have a look at the main topics of a subject and how it is presented and adapt to the best method suited for the student. I will identify the areas where the student is not fully confident in his understanding. I will work on approaches with which they can solve problems. I also like to develop my own problems and mock tests. Although repetition is key, parrot learning is not.
My teaching metgod is different for each student meeting them where they are at and addressing problems in tge foundation. Love to build the student's confidence.
Since January 2015, I have been a Teacher Assistant and Maths Tutor and Maths substitute teacher at the school. So I have the experience, enthusiasm, and a very positive person. I believe in the power of instruction. Give them a chance and the students will surprise both you and themselves but first: you have got to listen to their life stories.
I am an expereinced, dedicated, patient and enthusiastic primary school teacher, with an unwavering commitment to academic excellence. I believe in educating children with heart to ensure that each precious child develops to their full potential. I love stimulating and supporting young learners using a fun, hands on approach and fostering a 'can do' attitude in each child.
I am a patient and creative teacher. I believe that you cannot teach someone without finding a connection. I have taught Math to learners who are between 9 to 14 years old. My lessons will always start off recapping what we have learnt, building on the knowledge and evaluating what we can or cannot still do.
I'm naturally a very patient guy. I always encourage students to attempt the problem/task first on their own and see where they struggle. From there I teach them the basic concepts, where and when to use them. Finally we tackle some problems until they confident that they can do it on their own.

My approach to teaching is students oriented, that is focusing on meeting the particular needs of an individual student. Apart from that, I facilitate group discussions, which helps the students connect together as they apply peer review to work out the solutions for themselves.
I'm a very patient person and I truly enjoy tutoring. I try to be as flexible as I can be on my tutoring methods so as to suit the student's needs. Generally I like to give a brief summary to the topic with examples and then give several tutorials to enhance understanding of the topic.
My experience has equipped me for working with children of different ages as well as adolescents and adults. In my practice, I create a space for my clients to feel heard. I believe that when we listen and provide the space to develop a voice and discover strengths, you are free to be the best version of themselves.
