About Kailey
I graduated in the top percent of my high school class along with receiving an early college award for my completion of several college dual enrollment classes through Mountain Empire Community College and the Governor's School. I also graduated with the advanced diploma. I was accepted into several great colleges and offered many scholarships but ultimately decided to attend UVA Wise due to location. Here I am a sophomore who is studying cellular and molecular biology with a pre-vet focus. I work as a tutor for local high school kids.

I tutor for a program at the college in English 9 and Environmental Science and have had major success connecting and helping my students. I am a visual learner and focus on helping students understand material rather than just memorizing it. I like to come up with fun ways to help the students also enjoy and gain interest in the topics.
