About Jonathan
I started my academic career at Gainesville State College in North Georgia as a wayward community college student, until I took a Sociology course and was inspired to pursue a career in teaching. I transferred to the University of Georgia and completed my B.A. degree in 2012. I then attended graduate school in 2018 and completed my M.A. degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge. Since that time, I have taught Sociology courses at community colleges across the United States, as well as worked on several federally funded research projects, presenting lectures at academic conferences, and publishing research in peer-reviewed journals. I am currently writing my first Sociology book.
