About Syeda

I am a post-grad student at The University of Manchester. My aim to complete my Master's and serve as a faculty member as I go back to my country. I have always aspired to take teaching as my profession. Hence, I have been tutoring batches of students since 2016. Initially I used to teach school going students basic Maths, English and science subjects. Gradually as I started working at my University, I served as Student Tutor where I had to handle consultation hours of my Professors. After graduation I tutored IELTS to students who have study abroad plans for a year. Therefore, I have been in this teaching students alongside my own studies for quite a while now.
My experiences say that I can get along with my students very well. This is because I understand every student is different in terms of attention span and capacities. Hence I prefer to attend students one-to-one by balancing time and syllabus each day.
My priority is to help students achieve their desired grades easily and attain confidence in studies.
I believe, teaching is two way, I teach them a subject, they teach me a lot more.

About the lesson

I appreciate one-to-one teaching as I recognize individual needs of every student.
I focus on attending the problems of every student
I believe short quizzes after every session evaluates both the student's understanding and tutor's performance
Emphasize less on theories and memorizing
Each lesson can be of 1hr added with 15 mins-30 mins problem solving and discussion
I have tutored a number of students till now. Recently I worked as IELTS Instructor for a year. Previously I home tutored school going students for around 5 years and taught them various subjects such as Maths, Physics, English, etc.
I am best comfortable with school going students. My preference would be students from class 3 to 7
