I teach mainly based on how the student likes to learn. If they are more visual, I end up drawing and looking more at diagrams that will help aid them in their learning, and the same goes with more lecture-based or audio-based students. I like to do a warm-up, with an introduction to the concept and then progress with harder and harder problems as we move forward. As a younger tutor, I know exactly how kids learn and what they need to learn in the best method possible, and having this connection allows for them to truly feel heard in an educational setting. Far too many times, teachers and tutors aren't able to connect with their students so the session becomes a hassle for the student and no real learning happens. My philosophy is to circumvent this with a real connection. The lessons are mainly for middle schoolers up until 10th or 11th grade, as long as the math is from Pre-Calculus down.
