About Iqra
Dear students, Hey, thanks for viewing my profile. I am a Mumbai (Indian) born tutor having experience in teaching middle school students with written, audio and video interactive materials. Currently, I have been taking English sessions as an Independent tutor on various platforms. I have completed my Bachelor's in Commerce. I experienced great success at my school and university due to my amazing teachers and mentors. This experience has driven me to be a teacher who is dedicated towards the growth of students and bringing out the best in them. I love to share my knowledge and help the students achieve their goals by consistent dedication and focus. My sessions first take around identifying the strengths and weaknesses of students and then developing their knowledge and skills within the scope of the subject. I encourage an educational atmosphere wherein the students are allowed to be curious and independent.

I first start with evaluating the student's knowledge and fluency in Spoken English, then I adapt my lesson plans to suit student's needs. Whether for students who are learning a new language or for more advanced students, classes are offered for all between levels A1 to C2. My classes are offered in a very interactive way. It is offered in the areas of Grammar, Speaking, Writing and Reading Vocabulary with a vast range of topics (Sports, Politics, Literature, etc). Also my main aim is to make students more familiar with Spoken English through games, stories, poetry (for small kids), general words like months, seasons, etc. Also for Adults that are keen on improving their fluency in Spoken English, there will be classes conducted in Conversational English including role play to provide confidence to the students in Spoken English. To evaluate the student's progress, I will arrange some exercises and worksheets for the students to solve in order to get an idea about the development, strengths and weaknesses of the students. Business English is very important to solve the major dilemma of how to speak professionally in the business world. To avoid this confusing phase of what to do and what not to do during specific professional scenarios, I have designed a course providing fluency in business English. The course will include the following lectures: Lecture 1- Vocabulary to sound professional. Lecture 2- Advanced expressions you need to know in business along with how to change your Normal English into Business English Lecture 3- Call conversation basics Lecture 4- How to build your image during meetings Lecture 5- How to ace that presentation with appropriate words to speak Lecture 6- How to build Interpersonal relationships Lecture 7- Tips and tricks to improve your Business Vocabulary and to achieve success Lecture 8- Quick go-through of advanced level Business English (E-mail drafting and report drafting)

Cancellation of a Class can be accepted for only up to 6 hours prior to the class timings. Failure to do so, will not amount to cancellation rather the student will be charged the original price decided for the lecture even if the student is not able to attend lecture.
