About Yuhe
I am an experienced math and science educator with nearly 10 years of teaching in Ontario secondary schools and extensive tutoring experience. I hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree from China’s top two universities and an additional master’s degree from a leading Canadian university. My strong academic background and years of hands-on teaching have equipped me with the skills to help students excel in both school and competitive math. I specialize in OSSD math and science for Grades 9-12 and math contest preparation (Waterloo Math Contests, etc.). My approach focuses on personalized instruction, building strong learning habits, and bridging theory with real-world applications to develop deep problem-solving skills. Over the years, many of my students have received offers from top universities like the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo, and several have achieved high rankings in math competitions. Passionate about education, I strive to inspire curiosity, confidence, and independent thinking. I ensure that students not only achieve academic success but also develop lifelong skills in logical reasoning and analytical problem-solving.
