About Rahul

Hi, my name is Rahul, and I'm excited to assist you with your revision and studies. I am a second year medical student, with 3 years experience in tutoring. I have experience teaching as part of my IB course, as well as mentoring both my peers and younger students, consistently receiving positive feedback. I teach Biology, Chemistry, and Economics up to an IB/A-level standard, along with Maths up to a GCSE standard. I achieved the maximum score of 7 points in each of these subjects and attained a total score of 44/45, a feat accomplished by only 0.5% of students globally, and equivalent to nearly 5 A*s at A-level. I believe the IB programme has given me a broad understanding across several academic areas, which I am eager to share with others. Having recently completed the application process, I am confident in my ability to assist you not only with your subjects but also with your personal statements, UCAT preparation, and the interview process.

About the lesson

Having tutored as part of my IB course, as well as beyond as a mentor to younger students for the past 3 years, I offer a personalised approach to my tutoring, ensuring to give each student the specific support they require. I teach Biology, Chemistry and Economics up to an IB/A-level standard with an emphasis on how to tackle exam questions and any topics you may find challenging. I recognise the importance of active recall in learning and so will ensure that you receive an ample amount of support in this regard, through exam questions to strengthen your understanding. I aim to ensure that you leave our 1 hour lessons with a stronger understanding than you entered with.
