About James
My names is James Bishop and I graduated from the University of Sydney in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Physics and Philosophy. I am currently working for the ABS as a Field Interviewer, collecting data for the Survey on Disability, Ageing and Carers. I love travelling and have been to every continent except Antarctica.
I love to teach because I get satisfaction from seeing a student engaged in learning and from helping them grasp concepts that they were finding difficult to understand. Ultimately, it is a rewarding feeling to build a relationship with a student and to help them reach their full potential. I believe in the value of education and I find fulfilment in sharing this with others.

I have extensive experience as a tutor (specialising in mathematics) and a sports coach to people between the ages of 5 and 18 in both genders, and I have enjoyed my time in all of these roles.
I have developed strong organisational skills, time management skills and am able to explain complex concepts in a clear, concise and easy to understand manner. I have strong social skills and I am very flexible and adaptable. I am patient, personable and easy to get along with. I have a positive attitude and I am enthusiastic about helping and teaching others.
Lessons are for students of all ages and can run for however long you wish :)
