About Giorgi
I began my vocal training at the Tbilisi State
Conservatoire, and later studied at the Academy of Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Italy,
I subsequently trained at the Music Academy of the West and San Francisco Opera’s Merola
Programme. In 2025, I completed postgraduate studies at Yale University before joining the
Royal Opera House’s prestigious Jette Parker Artists Programme for the 2025/26 and 2026/27
seasons.
Also am the recipient of numerous international awards, including First Prize at
the Gerda Lissner Foundation International Vocal Competition. I also was the New England Region winner of the Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition.

Technique is not a cage but a liberation: once the instrument is free, artistry emerges naturally. I teach my students to listen, to trust their bodies, and to sing not with the voice they have, but the voice they are becoming. None of this arrives overnight—it is built through daily, patient repetition. Consistency, not intensity, is what transforms the voice.
