About Samuel
I am a kind, and friendly guy who has always been a bit of a try hard when it comes to learning. I walked away from my studies with 10 A*/A GCSEs and 3 As in A-Level. After gaining some work experience as a structural engineer, I knew that I wanted to take my maths skills further and apply them in a degree of civil engineering. I have had a great time at uni, and am on track for a 1st! I am usually modest, but the prompts for writing this are telling me to share this. Outside of my studies, I am massively into music. Music will always be my passion. I play bass guitar, guitar and piano, and am a lover of rock and funk. You are most likely to find me out at a gig. Happy to teach bass guitar too if you are interested!

I have always loved learning, and as a bit of a perfectionist, have always put quite a bit of pressure on myself to do well. I studied civil engineering at the University of Southampton, with my love of maths, I aim to become a structural engineer. I am looking to give tutoring sessions to like minded people who are looking to apply maths and science in their future, as well as those who just want to get their exams out of the way so they never have to look at maths and science again. My tutoring approach is to be a friend as well as a teacher, and give all the support I can to help you get where you want to be. I can tutor: KS3 and GCSE maths and science, A-Level maths, chemistry and physics and potentially higher education in areas within engineering such as further maths, mechanics, structural engineering, and thermodynamics (price reflected). My lesson lengths are flexible to support you as the student, whatever you feel comfortable with, and find most beneficial to your learning. Preferably online tutoring, but can also do in person if you would like, in the Kingston Upon Thames area.

Undergraduate: rates to be agreed
Will do a taster session for free to see if we are a good fit (if we decide to move forward +£ for 1st session on following weeks).
