About Naima
My name is Naima, and I am a student at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Public Health and Society with minors in Psychology and Speech and Hearing Sciences on the nursing track. I tutor Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Geometry with a patient, structured, and encouraging approach. I focus on helping students build strong foundational understanding of math concepts rather than memorization, breaking problems into clear, manageable steps and adapting my teaching style to each student’s needs and pace.
I am also currently teaching during the summer to keep my instructional skills sharp in a real classroom setting, which strengthens my ability to explain concepts clearly and support different learning styles. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions, practicing consistently, and improving their skills over time.
