About Aatish
I have very recently finished my undergraduate course in psychology from St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad. I had chosen humanities for my higher secondary education. I have always had a lot of love for all my subjects in class 11th and 12th, which made performing in exams a bit easier for me, as I very rarely had to rely on pure "ratta" or rote learning. I feel like I have good communication skills, due partly to my study of counseling psychology in my second and third year of graduation. I have also been told that I am a good listener so I am sure that I will be able to help with any doubts you might have with patience. I am confident that I will make the subjects I teach genuinely enjoyable!

Greetings! I am Aatish Sen Bhattacharya. I have completed my undergraduate study in psychology from St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad. I did my higher secondary in humanities from Delhi Public School, Rohini. I believe in the need to grasp concepts well, rather than relying on mechanical rote learning methods to score well in exams. I scored 99% in the term 1 CBSE board examination which was held in an MCQ format during the pandemic, scoring full marks in all subjects apart from English. My overall CBSE board score, combining both terms was 94%. I strongly believe that the easiest and most effective way to score well is to develop a genuine desire to learn about the topics in the syllabus. I, as a tutor, aim to inculcate this desire by explaining the concepts in such a manner that the student is naturally interested in learning the subject. I am well aware of our education system and how it necessitates rote memorization to some extent, and I will of course help the students in that sphere as well. However, what I would like to emphasize on is my primary motive of deep understanding-based teaching that will help the students perform well while making the subjects a little less boring and dreadful for them.
