About Monika
I am sun-loving, traveling yogi and Pilates instructor with passion for traditional cultures, and plant medicines. Yoga appeared in my life when I needed it the most in the time of mental and emotional distress and stayed with me until this day. Slowly it helped me to see the way out of my situation and was an amazing healing tool, both for my body and mind. It showed me completely different way of living and I instantly fell in love with it. Soon, after my yoga journey, I added Pilates to my routine, as it prepared my body to more advanced movements and positions. It still surprises me how challenging the simple movements can be if properly performed. Pilates makes me feel strong and never fails to challenge me. I construct creative classes, add new positions and modifications to challenge her students and give them opportunity to explore their bodies. By providing an individual approach and adjusting the level of the training to the needs and skills of the students everyone can get the best out of it. I focus on details so the students can be sure that the classes are safe. Another important aspect of my classes is breathing, as simple as it sounds. I try to remind people of this action which can help them to bring grounding and stillness. I still develop my skills and attend workshops, teacher trainings and classes provided by other teachers to expand my personal and teaching skills so the content of my classes develops as well.

Pilates is a great full-body workout that improves muscle tone, flexibility and strength. We will focus on low impact exercises which strengthen the core, and the rest of the body. Pilates is a mindful practice so you will have opportunity to pause and connect your body with the mind, the movements with the breath, and create awareness in your body. This form of exercise is perfect if you are a beginner, recovering from the injury, or want to level up your practice - we can add resistance and work with more advanced exercises and sequences. In the classes I focus on technique and details to make sure that all the exercises are done properly and support your health.
