About Sofiia

Develop your artistic skills through personalised one-to-one fine art lessons with an experienced professional artist. I am an exhibiting artist with a strong background in oil painting, drawing and a variety of artistic techniques and styles.
My paintings have been exhibited and sold to private collectors, with works held in private collections in London, the USA and Ukraine. I offer exclusive, personalised art tuition tailored to your individual goals, experience and artistic interests.
Whether you want to develop your technical skills, explore a new medium, improve your drawing and painting, or develop your own artistic style, I can help you progress through structured and highly personalised guidance.
During our lessons, I can help you explore:
Oil painting techniques Drawing and observational skills
Portraiture and figure drawing
Composition, colour and visual expression
Different artistic styles and approaches
Traditional and contemporary techniques
Developing your own artistic voice
Creating and refining a personal portfolio
Understanding how to develop artwork to a professional standard .
My teaching is based on both artistic practice and real professional experience. I have worked with private students and artists, and I draw across different styles and techniques, allowing me to adapt my teaching to each individual.
Rather than following a generic, one-size-fits-all approach, every lesson is designed around you — your interests, your current level and what you want to achieve as an artist. These lessons are ideal for students who are serious about developing their artistic ability and want to learn directly from an experienced practicing artist. Private, personalised and focused on your artistic development. If you are looking for a more individual and professional approach to fine art education, I would be delighted to work with you.

About the lesson

My fine art lessons are fully personalised and designed around your individual artistic goals, interests and level of experience.
During each lesson, you will receive one-to-one guidance in a focused and supportive environment, with the opportunity to develop your skills through professional artistic techniques and practical instruction.
Depending on your goals, we can explore oil painting, drawing, portraiture, composition, colour, different artistic styles and a variety of techniques.
I can also help you develop your own artistic style, improve your creative confidence and create artwork to a higher professional standard. As an exhibiting and practicing artist, I bring real experience from my own artistic career, including exhibitions and the sale of original oil paintings to private collections in London, the USA and Ukraine.
I also have experience working with private artists and teaching a range of techniques and artistic approaches. Each lesson is adapted specifically to you.
Whether you are looking to develop your skills, explore a new technique, prepare a portfolio or take your artistic practice to a more advanced level, our sessions will be tailored to your individual needs and ambitions. These are private, personalised art lessons for students who value individual attention, professional artistic insight and a serious approach to developing their creative abilities.

Sofia is a fine French Tutor who I am very happy to recommend to others. I was terrible at French at school and it seems not much better 50 years later, however Sofia is very patient and engaging and I am confident that with perseverance and Sofia's great teaching skills I will continue to make progress.
