About Caterina
I studied music for 10 years at different music schools in Paris, where I earned the CEM (Certificat d’Études Musicales) with mention Très Bien and Félicitations du Jury, as well as the highest diploma in music theory. Along the way, I trained with several teachers, which gave me insight into different teaching methods and approaches. I was taught using the traditional method, and I have extensive experience performing in chamber music, ensembles, choir, and orchestra. This background allows me to guide students not only in technique but also in musical understanding, expression, and ensemble skills. I am patient, professional, and committed to creating a motivating and supportive environment where students can gain confidence, enjoy learning, and grow as musicians.

I have been playing the cello for 14 years and enjoy sharing my passion for music with students of different levels. My teaching is flexible and adapted to each person’s goals and pace. Lessons usually include warm-ups, technical work, pieces the student enjoys, and music theory connected to what we play. I focus on building confidence, good practice habits, and a real understanding of the instrument. I teach beginners and intermediate students in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
