About Isabella

I am driven to tutor by a genuine passion for philosophy and a desire to share my expertise with students, fostering their academic success. I aim to provide the support I felt was lacking during my own A-level studies, particularly in structuring essays and mastering essential knowledge for exams. By offering motivation and encouragement, I hope to empower younger students to overcome challenges and excel in their philosophical pursuits. Ultimately, tutoring is an opportunity for me to leverage my knowledge to assist others in achieving their academic goals and pursuing their degrees with confidence.

About the lesson

As a philosophy tutor, I offer comprehensive support tailored to each student's unique needs, regardless of age or academic level. My services range from clarifying complex philosophical concepts to providing a sounding board for refining ideas. I specialise in structured revision sessions for A-level students running through main concepts and exam-focused essay writing skills. In addition, I facilitate in-depth discussions to help shape dissertation topics, and offer meticulous proofreading with constructive feedback. Tutoring sessions are conducted virtually via Teams or Zoom, ensuring accessibility and convenience, with in-person sessions available upon request. My goal is to foster a deeper engagement with philosophy, empowering students to achieve their academic and intellectual aspirations as I have done.
