About Sadie
I have extensive teaching experience. During college I was a peer mentor for General Chemistry. During graduate school, while working towards my PhD at Syracuse University, I taught 8 out of 10 semesters. As a result of my work, I also won two teaching awards: one from the Department of Chemistry in 2022 and then in 2024, I won an All-University Teaching Award. I earned these awards for my effort in building inclusive classrooms and labs and developing materials to help students better access material.

I am experienced in teaching intro to advanced STEM courses from my training during graduate school. I’m passionate about making learning accessible and aim to incorporate this into my teaching style. I believe it’s important for me to meet you where you’re at, and find ways to help you connect to what you’re learning so you can really dive deep and understand what you’re learning - not just memorize something for an exam to forget soon after!
