I am a chemist specializing with a PhD from Clark University. I have experience teaching and tutoring numerous levels of chemistry, physics, and math (up to calculus). I prefer to focus on problem-solving strategies and techniques tailored to each student's learning styles and subjects.

My teaching methods are primarily based on guiding students through problem solving that utilizes their strengths to address their weaker areas. In math and science courses, the most common problem students come across is the seeming disconnect between abstract concepts and quantitative calculation. Therefore I focus on relating those two in problem solving strategies rather than the rote memorization of a series of equations.
