About Gavin

I have recently completed a practice-based PhD, and I am now looking forward to expand my teaching, of both theory and practice, both inside the arts institution, and outside in the private sector. This can include basic drawing painting skills, to practice-based PhD supervision.

About the lesson

Aims: to establish what you want from the classes, to then break it down into a plan to then enable you to achieve your goals. This will include: skills, materials, techniques, in the sessions. Also this will also be given art historical contextual reference, in relation to what you do, and how you go about it.

Good start, improvement shown immediately, importantly the student understands what I am trying to do, in relation to what they want from the sessions. Great attitude to learning, open to new ideas: tried two different ways of working, student achieved results in both. Very pleased with the session.
