About Cyla
I’m a 3rd-year college student who is hardworking, patient, and committed to helping others learn. I have participated in different competitions involving Math and English, which helped me improve my knowledge and confidence in these subjects. I’m also knowledgeable and experienced in playing Acoustic Guitar.
Since I’m still studying myself, I understand the challenges that students can face when learning something new or difficult. I’m willing to study and prepare for the lessons I will teach so I can explain the topics clearly and give my students the best learning experience I can. I don’t believe that a teacher has to know everything, instead, I believe that being willing to learn, prepare, and improve is just as important.
I’m dedicated to making my lessons comfortable and easy to understand. I’m patient with students and willing to explain things in different ways until they understand. I will always do my best to support my students and help them become more confident in what they are learning.

I believe learning should be engaging and practical. I like to use simple explanations, examples, and practice activities so students can apply what they learn. I usually start by asking what they already know or giving a short pre-test, then I adjust the lesson based on their needs.
I’m a patient and kind teacher who believes mistakes are part of learning. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and trying, even when they make mistakes.
What sets me apart is that I’m also a student, so I understand the struggles students face. I’m patient and considerate, and I’m continuously learning so I can improve the way I teach.
I teach Math and English to elementary and high school students. For Acoustic Guitar, I’m open to teaching anyone who wants to learn, especially beginners.
