Years 7 to 10 math students, don't worry because help is on the way!
Once upon a time, I was a dog trainer. While that may seem irrelevant, what many people don't realize is that dog trainers really have to be people trainers. It involved me explaining training techniques and dog psychology in a way that their owners would understand. That experience revealed my natural talent for teaching.
After a career pivot, I worked as a data analyst, which was also a form of teaching. I dissected pharmaceutical claims to reveal pricing discrepancies in companies' health benefits. It entailed turning complex pharmaceutical pricing structures into plain-English reports that clients could easily understand.
Now, I'm here to be your teacher. I'll help you with homework and test prep so that you can not only get better grades, but also truly learn math, one hour-long session at a time.

I truly believe that students dislike maths because it's often not taught well. During my undergrad studies, I wound up teaching myself a lot of the material in a much more logical way, which clarified the principles I was learning. In general, maths boils down to taking given information, choosing a solution method, and doing calculations. When you look at it from that basic framework and repeat practice problems until it sticks, everything starts to make much more sense. The same strategy serves me well today in postgrad school. I'm here to help you bridge those gaps.
