Super Tutor

Rory is one of our best Music reading tutors. High-quality profile, qualifications verified, organised and responsive to lesson requests, and appreciated by their students.

About Rory

I have played music since a young age and have a degree in music performance with a classical guitar focus. I have taught piano and guitar lessons for over 15 years since graduating and am currently a part of 4 different groups. I also maintain a classical guitar repertoire for weddings, and compose music and write songs. I am kind and professional and try my best to practice empathy for everyone.

About the lesson

The study of harmony must be an essential part of any musician’s practice. Arranging, composing, and improvising all depend on the utilization of the shared language of music theory, a grasp of the analytical techniques, and maintaining a knowledge base of the concepts therein. Whatever you need help with: the fundamentals of staff reading, learning major and minor scales, key signatures and chord qualities, or are seeking a more advanced capability to analyze music, then you’ve come to the right person.

Rory is amazing working with my son. I can’t wait for my other son to be a year older and a little more mature, so he can also start working with Rory! Rory is patient, flexible, and kind, even as he challenges his students. My son loves Rory as both a person and a teacher! Rory works with students of all levels and adjust to their pace as needed. I cannot recommend him enough!
