About Nevena
In the last 17 years, I have been teaching both kids and adults in Europe and in the U.S. browsing through various methods and finding the system that would serve best to each student. In the last 8 years, I served as a music teacher in music high school (individual and group lessons), in a piano studio, and as a teaching assistant at the University of Miami.

As both a school teacher and a private instructor, I have had the opportunity to tailor my knowledge of different teaching methods based on my student’s needs.
My extensive background in music theory sets a good foundation for students to successfully begin understanding and connecting musical concepts. I encourage my piano students to analyze and talk about the piece that is played or discuss anything they are interested in music in general.
Very often, my versatile teaching and performing experience of different genres help me easily adjust to students’ interests and learning pace.
