About Helen

Music has always been a huge part of my life! I achieved a 5 on the AP music theory exam during my junior year of high school and went on to study music at both the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and the University of Vermont.

I believe in using all tools possible when learning music theory. My approach is to use hands-on activities and demonstration-based learning rather than simply telling. I’ve always learned best by using my eyes and my ears and I’ll use this approach to help you with any theory struggles!
