About Carolyn

I have a master’s degree in music and cultural studies, a bachelor’s degree in music, and hold RCM Gr. 8 saxophone, Gr. 6 piano, and Gr. 3 harmony certificates. I’ve been a university TA for pop music, ear training, musicology, and various music history courses, taught RCM Gr. 3 Harmony, and worked with middle school aged kids as a volunteer at a school and band camps. I can play most wind and brass instruments and love to sing.

About the lesson

Music should be fun! I want to challenge my students, but at the same time nurture a lifelong love for the subject. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for help with current schoolwork, or wanting to get ahead, I’ll be sure we are working towards YOUR goals and having a good time along the way.
