About Alex
I am a music graduate and leader of London's newest samba school. I have been a gigging musician in London's Brazilian music scene for 16 years.
I parade as part of Rio Carnaval every year and work side-by-side with some of the biggest names in Rio's carnival scene.
My private students play in community groups and are looking for a teacher who offers musical insight straight from the source.
If you are looking for more, I am the teacher for you.

Alex has been teaching me for 11 years, in group classes and also some individual classes. I went from never having played a drum in my life to playing in samba schools in Carnival in Rio de Janeiro and having the time of my life.
His lessons are well-structured, tailored to me, clear, and most importantly, very, very fun! He is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about sharing this with others.See more recommendations
