About Zak

I have over 10 years of experience in writing, recording, and producing music, specifically in the genres of pop, R&B, hip-hop, electronic/EDM, soul, funk, and more. I am a drummer by trade, with over 10 years experience in recording, touring, and performing on stages in front of up to 3,000 people

About the lesson

I truly believe the best way to teach something is by getting on the students' level. In particular, communicating in a way that is relatable, rather than more "know-it-all", always results in a better outcome. These lessons are for anyone who wants to improve their drumming skills. As a location, we will be utilizing a common rehearsal space, called "Pirate Studios", in Silver Lake, LA. They have drum kits already set up, ready to go, which helps the process move smoothly.
