About Marah
Hello, my name is Marah Adawi, I am a medical student aiming to become a Cardiothoracic surgeon and I believe that Science is at the nexus of societal changes; a pathway with the potential to make revolutionary modifications to the world. My 5 A-levels and experiences are invaluable and have led to my commitment into teaching and passing on scientific knowledge to all. I completed A-level maths, physics, chemistry, biology and Arabic having been awarded 5 A’s and I also have another set of Tawjihi grades ( Arabic a-levels) in the following subjects: geology, history, RE, maths, chemistry, biology, English, physics and computer science with an over 91% grade. I have tutored for over 3 years and I am willing to teach students from all ages, SATS,GCSE and A-levels. For anyone with a particular interest in Medicine I am willing to help whenever with UCAT and BMAT after making it in the top 10th percentile in the UK, I will also help easily with OXBRIDGE applications as I have a lot of experience which can come along for FREE with my lessons as extra!!! To achieve top grades and top marks I believe my students must understand all concepts from the root of the subject. I studied all by myself and I know exactly what methods work, I can provide the perfect plan for a student on how to achieve great grades in less than a month as i was that student.
I am now a medical student who was offered 3 offers from the leading medical schools, i was awarded 5 grade A's in my a levels, and i also completed another set of A-levels in a different country where I achieved an overall 91% grade in sciences and impeccable set of GCSEs.
A typical lesson could vary from 30 minutes to one hour. I believe a lesson is not truly over until my student has learnt something that could lead them to earn extra marks in an exam.
I would typically teach A-level maths, biology, physics and chemistry, and any GCSE science/maths. I have plenty of resources and a revision plan and guide that will be personalised to each student.
I have tutored for over 3 years of students from a range of ages and abilities, I have experience with students that have learning difficulties. my tutoring is not only limited to the session time, I am also happy to help during my free time via email or text and provide University application advice.
