About Alina
Hi I’m Alina! I’m a fourth year medical student at the University of Liverpool. I really enjoy meeting new people and helping them to achieve their goals so tutoring is a great fit! At A-level I studied Biology (A*), Chemistry (A) and English Literature (A*). At GCSE, the main subjects I studied were: Maths (8), English Literature (9), English Language (9), Biology (9), Physics (9) and Chemistry (8). The academic demands of applying to medicine are high, and as such, I had to develop a strong work ethic and revision and exam techniques. I used tutors throughout secondary school, mainly for help with Biology, Chemistry and English. I found the help of my tutors invaluable; without it, I don’t think I would have achieved the same grades.

I firmly believe that engaging and interactive lessons are the best way to learn. Therefore, in a typical lesson, time will be split between explaining the subject matter and practising exam-style questions designed to evaluate your newfound knowledge. My lessons last an hour on average, but I am also willing to teach for up to 2 hours if that best meets the students' interest. Having tutored for 3 years, I have helped many of my students achieve the grades that they were aiming for and have developed great interpersonal relationships with each of them! I would also prefer to teach online via Google Meets due to the demanding nature of my own studies but I can accommodate other preferences.

Perfect! Thank you very much Alina, Erin really enjoyed her session today
Perfect! Alina is excellent, engaging and passionate. My daughter was hesitant about online classes after a poor past experience. After the first free lesson with Alina, she asked me to stop searching as she found Alina engaging and energetic with an exciting teaching approach that includes probing and coaching. To top it all, she is generally a good person!
