About Sharon Elsa
My name is Sharon and I’m a medical student at Imperial College London. I know how scary and frustrating exams can be, especially when doing them from a young age. From my own experience, I know how much it helps to have a patient, kind and thoughtful tutor to help navigate someone through areas in my studies that I am struggling with. Having had lots of exposure around children, I am confident in communicating well but also working in partnership with students to empower them on their learning journey. I am very patient and eager to help anyone who needs it! I hope to provide a non-stressful learning experience that will help students perform to the best of their ability and give them lifelong study skills that they can carry forward with them.

My lessons will focus on providing an adaptable foundation in their knowledge that student’s can apply to any question that comes up in exams. My priority is to tailor lessons and learning to how students learns best. Initially this will involve doing a practice test so I can observe how they are performing at the current level, and from there working in partnership with the student to create a timeline with set goals to improve their performance in time for exams.
I have taught many children for 11+ and in sixth form I was also a mentor for GCSE chemistry.
