About Kareem
As a mechanical engineering student with a 3.7 GPA currently at the City College of New York, CCNY, (I also spent one year at Binghamton University), I understand the importance of fundamentally understanding any given topic, especially math-related fields.
I unofficially tutored around 20 kids during the senior year of my high school in various subjects such as calculus, physics, and SAT prep, so I have experience in clearly explaining these topics as well as understanding where most students have issues with these topics. As an older sibling, I also have years of experience in explaining topics in multiple ways to make sure my younger sister understood mathematical topics.
I served as a Student Ambassador for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) during my time at Bing U, and also assisted my mechanical engineering professor in explaining how to combine mathematical concepts and 3D computer design modeling for my classes.
I believe I have the experience and skills to tutor students in any of these fields in a way that is clear and relatable, while making sure to erase any questions that they may have.

I love using an intuitive understanding of the topic, with plenty of analogies and real-world examples to properly explain topics. Once I'm sure the student can understand the topic on a fundamental level, I help them solve multiple problems while making sure the student understands how the concept and the problem connect.
Generally, I let the student solve the problem on their own, and the moment they need a little help, whether conceptually or mathematically, I jump in to clear things up. As an older sibling, I'm used to explaining things multiple ways, and I know where many students have a problem with any given topic, so I know how to make it clear to them.
I tutor middle and high school math, such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus, as well as high school Physics, and any related topics.
