About George
I am a recent matric graduate with a strong passion for learning and helping others succeed academically. Having experienced the pressures and challenges of school firsthand, I understand how overwhelming certain subjects can feel, which is why I want to teach. I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts into simple, clear steps and helping students gain confidence in their abilities. Teaching allows me to share the strategies and understanding I have gained, while making a real difference in students’ academic progress and self-belief.

My tutor lessons would be unique because they are personalised to each student’s learning style and focused on understanding rather than memorisation. I create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions and make mistakes, which helps build both skill and self-belief. I also teach practical problem-solving methods and exam strategies that make work quicker and clearer, helping students avoid common errors. Having recently finished matric myself, I understand the academic pressure students face and can explain concepts in a relatable, straightforward way that actually sticks.
