About Nicola

In my day job, I work in post-16 education as an autism and Inclusive Practice Specialist, supporting others on their inclusion journeys, however I also have an interest in maths and a passion for working on gaps in learning whether that's maths or skills for life. I believe in personalising topics to make them relevant and engaging and delivering them in carefully planned steps, thus reducing anxiety, boosting self-esteem and sense of achievement. ★Get in touch for personalised maths lessons for beginners to GCSE level. ★Get in touch for bespoke autism related learning such as social and emotional skills.

About the lesson

Where possible, I approach each topic by connecting it with the learner's interests. Lessons incorporate a range of learning and assessment methods, with an emphasis on multi-sensory learning to increase engagement and retention. Lessons can be online during evenings and weekends. (1st hour free, then £22 per hour and 6th session half price). Lessons can be face to face on Saturday or Sunday mornings. (1st hour free, then £25 per hour and 6th session half price).

She has even made some brilliant resources for her to practice with at home. Nicola has endless patience and helps pupils to learn in their own way.
