About Marthe
I am an engineering student with a strong mathematics background. I am passionate about art, mathematics, physics, engineering and more importantly helping students develop a strong foundation in mathematics. I have realized so many students do not enjoy math because they do not have a teacher to break it down for them. My goal as a tutor is to help any student be comfortable enough to solve any math problem on their own while connecting with them. My favorite quote is "Students do not care how much you know until they know you care"

My teaching method is engagement. Engagement plays a very important role when it comes to teaching. This is how I know if my students are learning, if they're understanding the materials and if they can be creative with the problems. I also teach many different ways of how to solve a problem so they can choose which method is easier for them, this is how they develop their creative side, as long as they arrive at the correct result.
