About Jake
My fascination with patterns, numbers, and logical reasoning inspired me to earn a Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics. Over the past 8 years, I have taught students at all levels, helping them understand complex mathematical concepts through clarity, patience, and practical examples.
I focus on building strong conceptual foundations and guiding students to solve problems independently. I adapt lessons to match each learner’s pace and interests, combining examples, exercises, and discussion to enhance understanding. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students gain confidence and enjoyment in learning mathematics.
Beyond tutoring, I explore applications of mathematics in real life, including coding, finance, and engineering problems. Sharing these insights helps learners see the relevance and excitement of math, transforming it from abstract theory into a tool they can use confidently.
