About Ritesh
My journey in mathematics began with a fascination for how logical principles can solve complex problems. This passion led me to earn a B.A in Mathematical Studies and Quantitative Reasoning, where I developed strong foundations in algebra, calculus, and analytical thinking. Over the past 6 years, I have guided students through their mathematical challenges, helping them build understanding through patience and encouragement. I enjoy making math approachable and showing learners that success comes through clarity and steady practice.
My teaching style is structured, supportive, and concept-driven. I focus on helping students understand why methods work, rather than simply memorizing procedures. Whether we are studying algebraic expressions, calculus applications, or geometry reasoning, I guide learners step by step. I also support exam preparation, teaching students how to improve accuracy, manage time, and build confidence in written solutions. Each learner receives personalized attention because learning works best when lessons match the student’s pace.
Outside tutoring, I stay connected to mathematics through applied problem solving, interdisciplinary connections, and continual exploration of quantitative methods. This helps me bring meaningful context into lessons. Teaching mathematics is rewarding because I see students grow from uncertainty into confidence and independence. Mathematics becomes much less intimidating when students learn the meaning behind each concept instead of only memorizing formulas. In my lessons, I focus on helping learners develop strong foundations in algebra, geometry, functions, and calculus through clear reasoning and supportive practice. Each session is structured to build confidence step by step, so students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring challenges. Maths is a subject of patterns and logic, and my goal is to help learners see that structure clearly. I guide students through problem-solving methods that make even difficult topics approachable. With patience and clarity, students begin to trust their ability to think mathematically.
Lesson plans are adapted to the student’s level. Beginners strengthen arithmetic skills, algebra basics, and foundational geometry understanding. Intermediate learners develop equation-solving confidence, graph interpretation, and multi-step reasoning. Advanced students refine calculus concepts, probability thinking, and exam-level problem solving with stronger accuracy.
