About Diora
My interest in mathematics started at a young age, drawn to the patterns, logic, and problem-solving challenges that numbers and formulas offer. This interest led me to pursue a Master’s in Applied Mathematics and accumulate 8 years of teaching experience, guiding students at all levels to develop conceptual understanding, confidence, and analytical thinking. I emphasise clear, structured explanation, patience, and hands-on practice to make mathematics approachable and enjoyable.
I focus on creating interactive, student-centred lessons that combine visual examples, stepwise problem-solving, and real-life applications. Students are encouraged to think independently, ask questions freely, and explore concepts beyond rote learning. My approach ensures learners gain both competence and confidence while developing critical thinking and logical reasoning skills.
Beyond the classroom, I engage with mathematical puzzles, applied problems, and current research topics to keep lessons relevant and inspiring. Witnessing students grow from hesitation to mastery, gaining curiosity, confidence, and a love for mathematics is deeply fulfilling. My ultimate goal is to inspire learners to approach mathematics with curiosity, patience, and resilience, equipping them with analytical skills and problem-solving ability that support both academic achievement and lifelong intellectual growth.

I help students build analytical skills, structured thinking, and confidence by guiding them through exercises that balance practice, theory, and explanation. Each lesson encourages curiosity, persistence, and the development of independent reasoning in tackling both simple and complex problems.
I design lessons tailored to each learner’s level. Beginners focus on foundational concepts, simple calculations, visual representation, and guided exercises to build strong understanding. Intermediate students explore multi-step problem-solving, applied mathematics, analytical exercises, and reasoning strategies. Advanced learners tackle calculus, probability, abstract reasoning, and preparation for exams or competitions. Lessons include examples, exercises, and feedback to reinforce understanding and foster both competence and confidence in mathematical problem-solving.
