About Vivienne

My interest in mathematics began during my early school years when I discovered how numbers and patterns could be used to solve complex problems. This curiosity led me to study mathematics in greater depth and complete a Master’s in Mathematics. Over the past 9 years, I have taught students from different academic levels and helped them develop confidence in understanding mathematical ideas.

I believe that mathematics should be taught with patience and clear explanation. Many students initially feel discouraged when they face difficult problems, so I focus on breaking topics into smaller steps that are easier to understand. By encouraging questions and guiding students through the reasoning process, learners develop stronger problem-solving skills and confidence.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical puzzles and studying how mathematics supports fields such as engineering, technology, and science. Continuing to learn helps me bring interesting examples into my lessons. Helping students transform uncertainty into confidence in mathematics is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching experience.

About the lesson

Mathematics often becomes difficult for students when they try to memorize formulas without understanding the reasoning behind them. My lessons focus on helping learners understand the logic that connects different mathematical ideas. Topics such as algebra, geometry, functions, and equations are explained in a structured and clear manner. By using step-by-step examples and visual explanations, students learn how mathematical rules work and how to apply them confidently.

During lessons, students practice solving problems through guided exercises that gradually increase in difficulty. Beginners focus on strengthening number sense, basic algebra, and understanding mathematical patterns. Intermediate learners explore equations, graphs, and geometric reasoning. More advanced learners work with complex algebraic problems, trigonometry concepts, and analytical thinking tasks. Regular practice and explanation help learners understand how to approach different types of mathematical questions.

As students gain experience, they begin to develop stronger logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. Many learners start to enjoy solving challenges once they understand the structure of mathematical thinking. My goal is to help students build confidence, accuracy, and independence while learning mathematics so they feel prepared for exams and future studies.
