About Zara
My passion for mathematics emerged early, driven by curiosity about patterns, numbers, and problem-solving. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I honed my understanding of algebra, calculus, probability, and logical reasoning. Over the past 12 years, I have guided learners from foundational numeracy to advanced conceptual thinking, helping them develop confidence, independence, and analytical clarity.
I teach with patience, adaptability, and clarity, tailoring each lesson to match the student’s pace and learning style. I focus on building deep conceptual understanding through interactive examples, exercises, and step-by-step problem breakdowns. This approach helps learners approach challenges confidently, encourages curiosity, and develops critical thinking skills.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with mathematics through research, puzzles, and applied problem-solving projects. Witnessing students grow in skill, confidence, and appreciation for mathematical reasoning is deeply rewarding. Supporting learners in discovering their potential and fostering a genuine love for mathematics remains the most fulfilling aspect of my work.
