About Henry
I am a candidate for a PhD in mathematics at SUNY Albany. I have tutored college and high school level math as an undergraduate at my college's academic advising center and as a graduate student at SUNY Albany's math tutoring center. I also worked as a math tutor at Borough of Manhattan Community College.

I first ask students questions to try to understand their level of comprehension. I never show students how to figure out problems, but walk them through the exercises so they are doing most of the work. I try to place myself in the shoes of students so I can best fit their needs and help navigate them through overcoming their struggles.
